Guangzhou South China Highway & Bridge Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company established by two members, namely South China Highway Development (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Tunnel Development Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary company of Guangzhou Yuan Lin Bureau). It was registered and approved as Chinese-foreign joint venture enterprise on April 26, 1996 by government industrial and commercial bodies.

Guangzhou South Highway & Bridge Co., Ltd. is the first company which applies “Responsible System of Project Authorized Person”. It is currently running a Guangzhou “important” urban highway project, “Huanan Expressway”, in aspects of investment, planning, construction, development, operation and management of toll roads, bridges together with associated facilities. The head office situates in “Huanan Expressway Management Center”, at Guangzhou Tianhe Cencun Wushan Lu. It comprises 6 first-class departments, 9 second-class offices and 10 toll stations with total staff of 800. In order to keep pace with international quality and enterprise management, the company gained the quality management cetification of ISO9001:2000 by German TUV company at the beginning of 2002.

The Company has successfully invested and run PhaseⅠandⅡsince it was founded. With rapid growth and expansion it has current registered capital of 495M and total assets of 3500M (exclue Phase Ⅲ). Moreover, the 2-digit increment of annual revenue makes the company become the topmost amongst Guangdong province.
